Learn how to move with an aerial hammock. Our teacher will completely adjust the skills based on your personal experience. If you are a beginner, you will stay close to the floor and learn basic grips. If you are advanced, the teacher will give you harder progressions to challenge you.
Safety Requirements for this class:

This stretching class that allows you to move and open up your body. It is open to all levels. While some of the movements happen on the floor, we also include some standing movements to improve your full-body mobility and balance.
Our studio floors are fully padded so you can move comfortably. If you wish, you are always welcome to bring your own yoga mat to place on top of the floor.
Safety Requirements: You should check with a doctor before participating if you have an unhealed injury, recent tissue trauma, severe joint inflammation, or hypermobility (unstable or overly loose joints). Deep static stretching is not recommended for these conditions as it can slow down recovery or cause joint strain.

We are located at 73 Alness Street, North York inside the Ultimate Calisthenics facility.
Do not look for us at the front of the plaza. Our free parking lot and our main studio entrance are located right at the back of the building. Drive around to the back and look for our doors.
Because we train handstands, aerial arts, and deep floor stretching on our floors, shoes are not allowed past the lobby. Please leave your shoes on the racks at the front entrance when you walk in. You can wear socks or go totally barefoot during your class.
If it is your first time visiting us, please click the link below to sign our online digital waiver before you arrive. We suggest coming 10 minutes early for your first class so you can find the back entrance, park, and meet your teacher without feeling rushed.
Please reach us at ultimateacrobyuc@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Yes. Our coaches will adjust to your training level and provide modifications as needed. Every class is focused on learning at your own pace.
If you have any medical conditions such as vertigo, inner ear issues, heart problems, high or low blood pressure, glaucoma, recent concussion, brain injury, pregnancy beyond the first trimester, or other health concerns, please speak with your doctor before joining an aerial class. Always listen to your body and skip any movements that do not feel right for you.
Of course not! That’s exactly why you’re coming to class. We will build strength and increase flexibility together throughout each session.
We recommend wearing leggings and a fitted shirt. Because the hammocks are fabric, they can feel slightly uncomfortable on bare skin at first, so covered clothing makes class much more enjoyable. Tie your hair up and remove jewelry before class.
Bring a filled water bottle and an open mind.
